Little Cranberry

Forgot to mention our short walk around this isle. Islesboro was cute and quaint although there were paved roads and cars shipped from the mainland. Happy to see many bicycles though. Also everyone we came across waved, yes, and said "Hello!"

Then we went to the ocean and, along the way, discovered the ever elusive woodland lobster hiding among the pine trees.

Selkies

For work yesterday we went on a boat trip around the island--up along the park towards Bar Harbor, down to Little Cranberry Island where we got off for a little bit, then to Southwest Harbor and back to Northeast Harbor. The sun, of course, came out just as we were getting off the boat. We saw some osprey nests and some lovely houses and SEALS. They looked so comfortable and lazy. When we came close or a wave would come up onto the rock they would balance themselves with their nose and tail curved up, such a lovely arced form to cup in one's hand.

Rabbit is running around like a complete fou, up and down the stairs skittering about the couch as fast as she can.
